Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Knee and Ankle
Ligament, Tendon and Bursa Injuries

The Dexterity of our hand and upper limb actions and capabilities is very much dependent on having pain free unrestricted shoulder movement and strength.

Stresses and pressures on the tendons and ligament of the shoulder are enormously increased when lifting, pulling or pushing whilst reaching out and away from the body.

Damage or trauma to the tendons or ligaments of the shoulder along with swelling or inflammation of the cushioning bursa can be viewed through ultrasonic scanning images.

After injury rest your shoulder from physical activity for several days then you’re best to seek physical therapy advice if you’re to prevent the onset of a “Frozen Shoulder”.

More often than not early physical intervention will see the avoidance of any surgery options.
